About MHBHSS
Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, Kohima was established on 20th February 1968.
The school is managed by a School Managing Board. The school was approved by the Government of Nagaland on 15th July 1985. The school is under Nagaland Board of School Education. The first HSLC batch from the school appeared their board examination in the year 1981. The school was upgraded to higher secondary in 1998. The school is a centre for conduction of HSLC and HSSLC examination since 1998. The school provides free studentship to the highest percentage holder in each class.
The school also provide awards to the HSLC and HSSLC students namely, Tsito Memorial Award to the Highest Achiever with cash and citation, sponsored by the family of Er & Mrs Visekholie Nakhro and Kanato Memorial Award for Best Student Of the Year with cash and citation, sponsored by the family of Late Vitoi Zhimo. The school was declared as a Tobacco Free School on 14th September 2016 by the District Tobacco Control Cell, Kohima.
Our aim at Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School is to provide a well rounded program of instructions and give every child confidence and a sense of achievement. We hope that the children will grow into caring citizen, able to take place in society and achieve their Dreams and Visions. The school induces each students to make the school motto i.e; LOVE, TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE his/her guiding force in and outside the school.
