Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School (MHBHSS), is a premier co-educational institution established in the year 20th February 1968. It is affiliated to Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE).
MHBHSS is a proud mission driven school under the gentle care of the Ministers’ Hill Baptist Church. Here we celebrate the fact that each child is different, as a person and as a learner. Here people are valued and can fulfil their potential both as teachers and learners.
We foster a positive spirit and believe in partnership between students, parents, teachers and support staff that sustains excellence. 

Our distinction lies in the pursuit of high academic attainment through support, encouragement, praise and motivation. 

  I strongly believe that education is a collaborative effort that involves administrators, committed teachers and motivated students.

At MHBHSS, the growth of each individual student is our focus. We recognise that as we work together and learn together, student will be best able to achieve their potential. The students at MHBHSS are offered many opportunities to explore their interest and investigate new ideas. We offer many clubs, activities, concept days, sports and celebrate almost all important days of national and international importance for our students to participate and learn. The students are encouraged to take part in all the internal and external events and are given enough guidance and practice before being exposed to the competition.

We leave no stone unturned to offer multitudes of opportunities to our children; it is for them to make the most of it.

We have a team of meritorious, dedicated and experienced faculty. The MHBHSS is for empowerment of the students through value-based education. The school is devoted in promoting quality education and holistic personality. The theme of the school; LOVE, TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE induces each students to be a guiding force in and outside the school.

MHBHSS mission is to promote as a bridge to serve all rich and poor by providing easy access to quality education so that they can face the future with confidence and courage. It is also to embody an ethic of gentleness, love and sharing of knowledge, irrespective of race, caste, creed and gender.

It seeks to create a challenging yet conducive learning environment that inspires excellence and encourage high performance. We promote a safe, caring and supportive environment where every person can learn from and respect one another. The vision is also to nurture young minds, to focus on their holistic development and to develop their moral, ethical, human and spiritual values.
